Reposado Tasting Sayulita - Rare Beauty Single-Barrel Collection
Cachasol's Reposado Tasting is a one-hour guided tasting of four Rare Beauty single-barrel reposado expressions at 6:30 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. Each Rare Beauty is a Cachasol reposado finished in a different barrel - whiskey, rum, merlot, and cabernet - tasted side by side with a welcome cocktail and guided tasting notes. 800 MXN per person. Food is available separately from the farm kitchen.

Cachasol Rare Beauties are our single-barrel reposado project. Each expression starts as the same base spirit - an award-winning Cachasol reposado aged in American oak - then finishes in a second barrel that transforms it. The whiskey barrel adds vanilla and grain. The rum barrel opens into tropical notes. The merlot barrel brings soft red fruit. The cabernet barrel delivers structure and depth. This tasting was designed to show what a single spirit can become when you change one variable.
Our Double Gold winner from the 2026 Latin American Spirits Competition - the Cabernet barrel expression - is part of this flight. You will taste it in context alongside the others, which is the only way to understand what makes it remarkable.
The 6:30 PM start time is deliberate. The light on the Cachasol property in the early evening is something guests consistently bring up. The valley breeze comes in from the coast, the sun hits the agave field at the right angle, and the whole property shifts into golden hour. The tasting is designed to unfold with it.
For guests who want to go deeper, this tasting follows naturally from the Distillery Tour at 5:00 PM. The tour gives you the full farm and production story; the Reposado Tasting takes that knowledge into a more intimate spirits-forward session at sunset.

Yes. The Tequila Tasting and Raicilla Distillery Tour with Full Farm-to-Table Meal runs at 5:00 PM and the Reposado Tasting begins at 6:30 PM. The two experiences are designed to work as a natural evening progression - the tour gives you the full farm and production story, and the Reposado Tasting takes that knowledge into a more intimate spirits-forward session at sunset.
How far is Cachasol from Sayulita?
Cachasol is located at Km 5 on the Carretera Punta Mita highway, approximately 15 minutes by car from Sayulita town center and 20 minutes from the Punta Mita resort zone. From Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the drive is approximately one hour.
Is the Reposado Tasting suitable for children?
Youth 17 and under attend free when accompanying family. The Reposado Tasting is an adults-forward spirits experience. Non-alcoholic options are available. Youth who do not drink can attend and enjoy the experience and property. Note: food is not included - it is available separately from the farm kitchen.

This farm and distillery is a must if you are anywhere near the PV area. From the start, it is a magical experience on a serene agave farm with a charming outdoor bar and welcome cocktails. Our guide gave a wonderful and informational tour of the land and processes for each type of liquor they produce. The farm is gorgeous, with a small pond and various plants. Then the lunch was just phenomenal, prepared in the moment on the comal. Overall just a lovely experience. Can't recommend it highly enough!
